Migraine brain enjoying this band this morning, working my way through their offerings, love the artwork on this cover. migraine brain would be a good name for a band.

Living on the coast is the best, even makes shitty migraine recovery much more interesting when you can go for a meander to clear the brain ache and look at this old thing (yes I did get a little damp…worth it!)

Heh.

Overheard in the office today: “Slipknot are commercial, they’re a bit like the Harry Styles of the metal world”…

Finally something positive! *crossing fingers & toes*

Everything hurts! The gym is fine but it’s not as goofy and fun as playing around at your friend’s circus school. Silly exercise is way better and cooler. Do we even feel like we’re exercising? Yes I did this too, yes there’s photos. No I didn’t look this badass, I am quite out of practice!

Liking this a LOT - helping me through a copyright heavy, morning. Beautiful and heavy has to be one of my favourite combinations.

Last day I’m on this schtick - but if you care about protecting creativity from big tech - today is the final day of the Government’s AI consultation. No time to fill out the consultation response? Use this template to email your MP

#isthiswhatwewant 1000+ uk musicians jointly released this album today to protest the planned changes to copyright law, which would hand the life’s work of musicians to AI companies for free. It’s an album of recordings of empty studios, which is what we’ll get if the government’s plans go ahead.

Completing the questionnaire will make you scream like a rabid beastie as it’s so ridiculous and drafted to be deliberately biased and confusing BUT if you care about protecting creative industries from AI fuckery, then do use your voice and respond by tomorrow.

This is fucking terrible, especially for freelancers and will undoubtedly have a domino effect across the industry. I really hope their smaller clients have asset ownership terms in their contracts.

“I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange” Happy Twin Peaks Day to all who celebrate! #twinpeaks

Watched ‘This is the Tom Green documentary’ and went straight into his new series about moving back to Canada. Still funny but much more vulnerable and wholesome af, his mum is brilliant. Recommend giving both a watch. Although I do now have the Bum Bum song stuck in my head!

Tiny reminder that the deadline for responses to the Government consultation on Copyright and AI is the end of this month. No time for that? Write to your MP. Don’t just moan about it on socials, DO something.

Safe to say I am now very awake.

Would anybody like a commission? Things are pretty desperate for me right now and my dog needs surgery we can't afford. I can draw you, your fave character, your oc, whatever. £50 / $60 per character? If you are very serious DM me. I have 10 spots open atm so be quick.

Baaaaad Monkey. Not just because it kills people, but as a film based on a short story - it really shows. Great idea but the execution missed the mark.

VERY excited for this…

Elon Musk is the world's most embarrassing man, and a cunt

Insomnia me can make impulsive treat purchases of things I don’t really need but that I want… oh hello.

Movies you’ve watched more than six times, using only GIFs.

Well, this is shitty

You can always rely on the Daily Star to deliver a banging front page.

Trying to avoid adding to the quagmire of misery in the world by posting about it, however I can’t stop thinking about the miniatures in this diorama by the Chapman bros in 2013, as well as their other similar projects, Hell, Fucking Hell and the Sum of All Evil. Guys always made a valid point.

Moomins hold a special place in my heart. The illustrations are gorgeous but there’s a depth to the stories that always feels relevant - they have a way of quietly staying with you. #Moomin
