I had polio when i was 9. I was taken from my parents & placed in a Hospital for contageous diseases- the polio ward. I would see them once a week - thru the glass window at the end of my ward. I could not walk. It was terrifying. Kids died. Iron lungs were awful. Dont let RFK Jr ban the vaccine

My condolences to Conan O'Brien for the loss of both of his parents. Thomas Francis O’Brien, 95, an epidemiologist, and Ruth Reardon O’Brien, 92, a lawyer who made strides for women in the legal field — both died at their home in Massachusetts, three days apart. Anyone catch giant ring or halo around the moon tonight? It is caused by moonlight passing thru ice crystals in cirrus clouds! What's cool is that you can also see Jupiter to the lower left of moon. We have more some nice examples in our live updates article: www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2024...
