Here's my initial assessment of Intuitive Machines’ IM-2 mission Athena Landing site. There are at least 2 significant PSR's (<1Km2) (PSR1, PSR2 ) within 3km radius around the planned -84.78°, 29.13°E target landing site. There are other smaller PSR's within the 3Km radius and the next...(1/3)

We made it to the Moon! Blue Ghost is currently orbiting our nearest celestial neighbor! 🌖 It’s truly unbelievable to see our lander finally in orbit around the thing I’ve been looking at in the night sky for 35 years. I can’t wait to get the chance to stick the landing in a few weeks!🧪

We just completed our Lunar Or it Insertion (LOI) maneuver! That means Blue Ghost is now orbiting another celestial body and has left our home forever. Good-bye Blue!🧪

Oh wow!

Really hope they can make it this time! Just like last IM1 I’ll be watching IM2 with same enthusiasm and my assents on the landing situations. Here’s the IM1 moonandbeyond.blog/im-1-landing...

Anyone in my timeline has worked with NASA Ames Stereo Pipeline in my timeline? I'm especially looking for support in creating Community Sensor Model for push broom sensor.

Exactly one year ago SLIM made its pin-pointing landing at an area close to Shioli crater. I wrote around that time how I used ISRO’s Chandrayaan-2 OHRC to locate SLIM lander. Here's the blog post about it and the landing algo explained. #SLIM #JAXA moonandbeyond.blog/how-slim-jax...

Two Landers, One Mission: 2025 Lunar Exploration begins with the launch of Firefly's Blue Ghost Mission 1 and ispace's Mission 2, part of the HAKUTO-R Venture Moon program (...) First blog post of the year.

India has done it! #SpaDex mission was a complete success and It has become the 4th only country to achieve Space docking with Indigenously developed technology! 🇮🇳

ISRO aborted its third #SpaDex attempt at 3m separation, just before the final docking. They have been brought back to a safe distance of around 4.5 Km now. No new dates has been announced.

#SoaDex crafts are 15m now, next up 3m then final docking. The final docking is expected to be in about an hour when it’s visible over India. There will not any live streaming but I expect a docking video on successful completion

#SpaDex update. Spacecrafts are about 230m apart and likely closing in for next stages of 15 and 3 meters before they start final docking sequence. Docking expected to happen tomorrow with very slim to no chance of live streaming. I expect an announcement with a docking video, well hopefully🤞🏻

🚨 #ISRO has new Chairman! Dr. V Narayanan, Distinguished Scientist currently serving as the Director of Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), ISRO will take charge from the current Chairman S Somanath on Jan 14th, 2025.

🚨 Update as of 05 Jan 2025. Based on the latest TLE, Separation between SpaDex A and B is just about 2.3 km at UTC time: 2025-01-05T03:25 Both crafts are being prepped to be docked. Docking to be casted live: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCs1...

wünsche euch allen einen guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ 🎆🎊 wish everyone a good start into the new year 2025 🎆🎊

This year is a great start for #VayuVani as the year comes to an end. I am busy working on the next - more stable, lighter and Mesh ready App. Here are more updates : the new application has been written from ground-up with fresh look and new framework

Launch success! 🧵

On 30.12, not so many days now. #ISRO will test its very own space docking experiment #SpaDeX - this demonstration is vital to prove its indigenously developed docking procedures for future #Chandrayaan4 , #ISRO Space station (BAS). Credits: X/ISROSpaceflight

My pick for the first :-)
