I had the pleasure of seeing Phantom of the Paradise in a theater. (Shout out to my local haunt: GardenaCinema !!) I saw this movie for the first time about 10 years ago. I loved it, but it'd been too long. Great film! One of my first visits to @itsratnest.bsky.social was buying the tape.

I love fighting game tournaments. I love competing. I love seeing hard work paying off. I understand wanting to win for the glory. . . . But I mean, generally speaking, if your motivation is money, what money??? Winning an esports cup is a sacrifice. The day job is probably healthier.
