Re: speeding and cameras discourse… even if you ignore the many good reasons not to speed, you just can’t make up much time at typical levels of speeding. When I was younger I used to try increasing my normal avg speed by 5-10 mph across a drive when I was late, and it never shaved more than 1-2 min

I have absolutely no sympathy for people who bitch about speed cameras. Drivers in this country are terrible on average, it’s way too easy to get a license, and a ton of people die needlessly as a result. You can just not speed so much! While we’re at it, let’s get really aggressive on phone use too

This is disgusting. The shooter clearly subscribed to a kind of “antizionism” that has a very hard time distinguishing between Israel, Israelis, and Jews in general, and regularly veers into antisemitism (also popular on here). I don’t really care what was in his heart, the attack was antisemitic.
