Finally got a chance to see Wim Wenders’s film Perfect Days, and it was worth the wait. A succession of small beautiful moments balanced on a knife’s edge between joy and sorrow. An exaltation of seeing and being. And that long final shot: absolutely transcendent. What a gift.
