OTP has plenty powerful tools to build complex things, but complex things remain still incredibly COMPLEX things, even with great tools. Complexity permeates and persists. This particular example of baroque engineering is from chapter 8 of the Elixir Patterns book. #ElixirLang

Played ER Nightreign. Even with randoms it was a loads of fun, will get the game when it comes out. But what would make this phenomenal for me would be if FS decided to remove the rain for solo sessions. It would still be hard, a souls game with game reset on first death. #EldenRing #Nightreign

Whenever I read about Agents, the person writing tells me that I probably don't want to use Agents but should just use a GenServer instead. Agents keep state but are limited in that they cannot accept messages (no handle_info). #ElixirLang

The first slot for Elden Ring Nightreign network test has started, and so far I have not been able to try the game because matchmaking fails, the connection to the server is lost, and I get kicked out of the game. Fun times. #eldenring #nightreign
