This. Sign up for ballot curing right now: events.democrats.org/event/684133/

This. Also: So far, everything that's been called is *exactly* the same map as 2020's final map. If this election is a carbon copy of 2020's, we won't know until Saturday, but Harris wins. If it's exactly the same EXCEPT Trump picking up GA, Harris *still* wins. (Or GA + AZ. Or GA + AZ + NV.)

Repeat this to yourself for the entire nation. Cities take much longer to count and break blue. Rural counties will turn in counts quickly and make a state look red for quite some time.

I am so surprised at how people are freaking out about a result announcement pattern that is exactly the same as it usually is. Big cities take longer. The west coast is still voting. Turn off cable news.

P.S. One more thing: The Harris campaign has been warning about this for days now, but it bears saying again. Trump will probably try to declare victory tonight. Do not fall for it, and denounce it loudly. Team Harris is also expecting it, and they are prepared to act.

For North Carolina, remember the totals look the way they do because in-person early votes were not allowed to be tabulated until after polls closed It's part of elections changes that Republicans passed last year So smaller/Republican counties will report fastest www.ncleg.gov/Sessions/202...

NEW: A federal judge in Georgia just threw out the RNC's lawsuit claiming that Georgia counties broke the law by accepting absentee ballots over the weekend. The judge says the complaint lacked a "basic level of statutory review and reading comprehension." Details TK. (via Kyle Cheney)

A few years ago on the RFS podcast, Sarah told me "if you want to fall in love with your community, run for office." I think about it constantly. She's going to be an incredible member of Congress.

Eat shit, Larry!

A Harris campaign source tells me they "are currently outperforming Biden’s winning 2020 margin in large suburban counties" in Georgia based on early voting totals. That is an encouraging sign for them since the suburbs will be key for her in swing states.

Folks: Don't Red Wave yourself. The race so far shows that country is more polarized, w/rural areas swinging to Trump by ~5 and suburban/urban areas swinging to Harris by we don't yet know bc they're not counted, but in some cities turnout is historic. There are FAR more people in latter areas.

In Nevada, the GOP is succeeding in throwing out the votes of thousands of young people. If you're in Clark or Washoe county, answer your phone tonight. It may be election officials, calling to cure the defect in your mailed-in ballot.

I stand with my colleagues in @nytguildtech.bsky.social - they build wonderful tools to engage our audience, showcase our journalism and delight our readers. They deserve a fair contract and I am absolutely flabbergasted that the company would let it get to this point without seeing that.

Thank you for stating it plainly NBC Philadelphia
