I'm still troubled by how Ukraine treated African students and other foreigners fleeing the invasion—seeing racism persist even in war was painful. Yet, I also feel for Ukraine because if I was invaded, I’d fight for every inch. Sometimes, a good heart feels like a curse.

I hate how hardship traps parents in the rat race, especially when the government fails to help society thrive. This drives them to superstition or religion, offering no real solutions only blame. Worse, they pass down their struggles and prejudices, trapping their children in the same cycle.

There are all sorts of people who support this numpty, but two stand out to me: those with plenty of money who will get tax cuts and those who believe his policies and lackeys will hurt the people they despise. In the end, your bank statement says which one you belong to.

Without lies, prejudice dies.

Sometimes, finding peace means accepting that no matter how much logic, critical thinking, proof, stats, and lived experience will convince stupid.

I think dogs get more factual info just by sniffing other dogs behinds than humans get from their superstitions.

It takes a deeply humiliated and degraded individual to admire "strong leaders" solely for their capacity to bully other nations or groups. This admiration reflects a desire for power to inflict pain on those they perceive as having wronged them.

Politicians must stop using immigration as a political football and have an honest, fact-based conversation about it. With longer lifespans due to medical advances, ageing populations will need pensions and long-term care. New taxpayers are crucial to sustaining these services.

Thinking indifferent leaders will step up is like turkeys, hoping the butcher sharpens his knife. I’d rather we built our own, but these leaders won’t and the poor will suffer.

Sometimes, It feels like a curse to care about politics. But I do because I want to live in a society where people are chosen for their character, where the most vulnerable are cared for, and where everyone is empowered and encouraged to succeed.

It’s sad that over the years, bro-casts and Manosphere platforms often led by closeted white supremacists posing as psychologists like (JP) have groomed us to this point. The combination of religious bigotry+white supremacist influence has created a toxic cocktail.

The "Might is Right" mentality often perpetuates a permanent underclass of second-class citizens. True power lies in having strength while remaining considerate and empathetic, as this fosters social mobility and drives societal progress.

I still find it hard to understand how we support injustices for the sake of a win. If we continue like this, we will bind our children to the same cycle of cruelty tomorrow.

Hatred for immigrants and refugees leads to death and destruction. Many Jews saw Germany as a safe haven during Russian pogroms, but Hitler and his followers chose a path of genocide. History shows that racism and tribalism always end in tragedy. Don't support genocides.

British Telegraph Newspaper called it a Roman Salute. I call it a Seig Heil. Sad times ahead. #trump #inaguration

Unlike fiat currencies, which governments and central banks back, cryptocurrencies rely on the trust, utility, and innovation of their ecosystems. The value of some cryptocurrencies grows with the size of their user base. I feel the speculations may facilitate a Ponzi.

A tragic week. Furthermore, Ironically, those calling for more firefighters once supported tax cuts for the wealthy, forgetting such cuts undermine funding for civil servants’ salaries.

Oh uh. Fox News visits Greenland and is shocked to discover that, contrary to what they were told by Trump, most people on the island do not want to become part of the United States.

If this App had a live audio conversation feature, it would be great for the users and the App. #bluesky #spaces

Conditioned by classism and oligarchy, we often perpetuate oppression while opposing it. For example, an employment activist refusing to pay fair wages. Being a victim does not inherently make one virtuous.

trump is the loud, shameless voice of American imperialism, eager to claim Greenland, long colonised by Denmark since the 1720s. Like past U.S. seizures of California, New Mexico, and Puerto Rico from Spain, he embodies unapologetic colonialism. He's a fool’s idea of a tough guy. #Greenland

The Labour party with its majority needs to table a bill that will make sure we reduce influence of financial donors in politics. #politics

I think; The notion that women were created from a man's rib perpetuates a deeply ingrained misogynistic framework, suggesting that women are inherently subordinate to men. It also reinforces hierarchical gender dynamics, positioning men as the foundational beings in contrast to women.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Mark Zuckerberg's actions appear driven by financial expedience. As highlighted in a Guardian article about billionaires gaining massive windfalls after Trump's victory, greed fuels his pursuit of even greater wealth.

I sometimes try to persuade myself that things aren't as bad as they look.

Why is everyone so shocked about this new fact checking decision? Didn't we all watch the Social Media Movie? And didn't he also make a lot of money just days after trump's win in November? www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Is this really happening 😂, or is this a new Netflix Series, "American Royal Family," Season 1, Episode 2 in which the Emperor sends his son to survey their newly acquired fiefdom? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

With the maiming of MPs in the UK in recent years, I think the Twitter owner's interventions are a dangerous one at this time.

Tim Walz shouldn’t have tried to make Vance look normal. Not sure what was going on there.
