Finally reunited

Including best animated, coolest vape hit, full sweep baby

Wow. Huge Protest today outside Meatpacking District Tesla Dealership in NYC. People are pissed.

If the pope dies during the Oscars that's God giving Conclave all of them

Ugh the slow moving agony of a stomach bug going through the house 😭 it finally got me yesterday but I have succeeded in eating a piece of bread today, I shall not be vanquished

Afro Joe's events in March #Chicago #Beverly

My only comment on Clara Jeffery is my husband checked out MoJo coverage of the (mid genocide) SOTU before opting to get me a birthday subscription to Jacobin instead, and that decision has held up great. Fuck the New York times.

That is an insane summary of his actions which, to date, have included coercing doctors to drop their trans patients, confiscating our passports, censoring any mention of us across the federal government, purging us from the Defense Department, and forcing trans women into men's prisons

Rahm Emanuel is an ignorant hate-mongering dick. Our K-8 school, like most/all Chicago public schools, has an inclusive bathroom policy. Use the one that's right for you. It's humane and the kids are fine.

Rahm Emanuel covered up the state murder of a child so what "he would have done" is not a reasonable metric that anyone should give any value.

I think Inside Out 2 is more uncomfortable to watch than Todd Solondz's Happiness

I guess Inside Out 2 does convey something about anxiety bc I found it physically painful to the point of walking out of the room due to stress from every decision the kid made

I can't really complain because my oldest is the Steph Curry of puking in convenient containers/locations, has basically never missed. #blessed

Heartbreaking and all too common, especially with evangelical savior adoption culture. Strongly recommend The Child Catchers by Kathryn Joyce on all the ways the adoption industry builds on violence and colonialism.

Paging @anthonymoser.com

if you don't believe this run a search for "the sin of empathy"

Crying as I reset the counter on my "days since one of my kids was too sick for school" poster

Basquiat door to the art room for Black History month. Much love to all the CPS teachers, staff, and volunteers bringing this rich education to our kids.

Kids' school had a Black History Month gallery walk/wax museum night and it was dope! I have learned new things every year. There was also an adorable kid in an Ida B Wells dress with matching Barbie.

Took 5 min today and whipped up simple designs in Canva. Sized to fix 2 x 4" and 1 x 1 5/8" mailing labels. Print them by the sheet and stick them up: lampposts, parking meters, sidewalks. (Just don't be a jerk.) Remind people this isn't normal & they're not alone, and encourage them to act.

I love leaving voice mails for my senators where I say things like "the USPS is very important to our country" as if I'm helping a small child with a book report or describing our civilization to an alien

We've seen this before here in Boston. 🗃️ www.wcvb.com/article/homa...

Pedro Pascal is such a true mensch.

We need to bring back violence against people who use the r-slur.

Please stop putting games on my watching apps, thx

In their early days, they were strictly pacifists. Then somebody came to their home and smashed up their van, and they reevaluated. When he came back they had a baseball bat, and he was persuaded not to return again. Some people must be physically stopped from doing harm

For large institutions wanting to lay low in an effort to keep government funding... Does keeping a target off your back just move it to someone else's? IMAN does critical work and will never be able to scrub their websites to appease the white supremacists

We need shoe-ing except with Stephen Jay Gould's The Mismeasure of Man chucked hard at the eugenicists every time they say start talking about "high IQ". Ideally hardcover.

POV: You're 16, believe being in advanced placement math class means you're a once in a generation genius, and have just discovered Reddit.

Started watching halftime shows with the kids and the Rihanna one led to a request for the Tom Holland lipsync video so yeah they have some culture

One of the cool things about having kids is after about a decade you can go out and have a chill breakfast together and read books cozily.

This Elisabeth Finch documentary is wild. I didn't expect her shenanigans to begin with writing a high school play about an abusive dad and making her parents go see it like fucking Euphoria
