I don't enjoy boats but even if I did you couldn't pay me to hang out in the playpen on a summer weekend. I was at Ohio St beach recently and the boats are all so close together, with lots of new/infrequent drivers (sailors? I don't boat)

My 11 yo loves the library so much, it's great to have the reminder to go myself. We talked today about how if it didn't exist it would be impossible to start in America at this point.

We had a super fun family pride day with drag bingo, face painting, button making, and lots of joy. Kids gathered round for bingo calling!

Went to a new thrift store (Thriftara ) in Blue Island yesterday and 8 yo got some very dapper Hawaiian shirts. The kids love thrifting and understand that it's better for the earth, parenting win.

It was especially moving to see this support from a Presbyterian church after learning from the Sally Ride documentary about her sister Bear's fight for LGBTQ rights as a minister in their denomination. She is also a trailblazer.
