I thought these were real herons on this wooded island until someone informed me they were decoys to ATTRACT real herons. Does that even work? They fooled me but I’m sure I would recognize a human decoy if i saw one.

Just because we lack the ability to communicate with others (all of nature, humans dissimilar to us) doesn’t mean we are superior or more evolved, it’s likely the opposite.
