Thanks to someone on Mastodon, I spun up a second Immich for all my memes, gifs and reaction vids. I called it Mememmich. It can search for context, so it's a MUCH better method of organizing all the shit I have on my devices while keeping it separate from the main #Immich instance.

I first learned about black-start from a pumped storage plant in Bath County, VA. While the grid’s stable, it pumps water up a mountain, but can switch to generating power instead of using it by letting the water flow back down through turbines, like a giant battery. Most power plants can’t do this!
