The current state of world affairs is devastating. I’m not sure how to tell people (family) they don’t need to share the daily devastation with those of us who are deeply empathetic

In future generations, when your children and grandchildren look back on this moment, they are not going to ask about the price of eggs. They are going to ask you what you did. Not what you felt. Not what you paid. But what you did. And I want to be able to say I did everything I possibly could.

I’ve seen many

Truth.

Vase with various cuttings. Satin and Golden Pothos, Brazil Philodendron, Swiss Cheese Monstera. Will probably never see soil as I like them just the way they are. 💚🌱

We are going to see political investigations and prosecutions. The question is whether the public, the courts and the media will recognize and call them out as political. Will they stand up against them or will people stay silent and allow them to continue.

We are deeply concerned about the current state of our country. As civil servants, we are doing everything in our power to resist, even if it costs us our jobs. We are proud to be Americans, but what is happening right now does not reflect the values we, as Americans, stand for!

I love this so much! At the inauguration, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wore a distinctive collar adorned with cowrie shells, which are believed to offer protection from evil in African traditions. This choice mirrors the late Justice Ginsburg’s practice of using collars to convey a message.

Martin Luther King Jr. said that “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge.” We are in a time of challenge. The question for every leader, every citizen is where do you stand?

Last night, I sat next to a man who desperately wanted attention. How did he try to get that attention? By claiming the reason for the wildfires in LA is that California firefighters aren’t white enough.

Am I not doing it right or is harder to view current news, here?

#History For 30 years, a group of women called "The 9 Nanas" kept a secret for decades w/o their husbands knowing They met at 4am & anonymously paid bills & bought clothes for people in need The care packages came with a homemade pound cake & note that said "Somebody loves you" Recipe:⬇️

Beyond disgusted at a potential shutdown based upon a freaking billionaire who wasn’t elected?!? What 🌎 are we even living in?

Tips on supporting a sibling who has been diagnosed with breast cancer?

I was sent this today with the actual message of ‘perishable’. Am fairly certain this is from the 70s80s90s? Do they even still make this & what is called?

Anticipatory obedience is contagious. But it is still wrong.

I love how South Korea was like yeah no and ended that shit before dinner. Goals. 😂

How to cope with an increasingly turbulent world? Currently, I'm cuddling with Mabel & avoiding reality entirely.

While trump spent his Thanksgiving spreading the hate on his social media, Kamala Harris was spreading the love and joy to needy Americans. We may NEVER forgive you, America.

The next time someone cites this rule as an absolute. You're welcome. 😂

Heroes walk among us.

I love Paul Reickhoff. Dude is an American hero 1st of all, but he’s just a genuinely smart guy and cares about this country. We need more people like him in this world.

Let’s work on building the Resistance in here — if you’re anti-tRump, I’m excited to follow each one of you. 🦋 Repost this, so I can see to follow you! It’s definitely easier than scrolling through the follower list. Others can follow you too!!! 😊 #MakeAmericaSmartAgain
