Not sure if there's a correct fx cymbal to normal cymbal ratio, but if so it probably isn't 4:3 🙈 Anyway about to work out some drum parts for @saynotoyes.bsky.social

This @asylum213 single recently dropped! The band wanted to capture their explosive live sound, so they recorded the song live with overdubs here at the studio. They nailed it, and this song wound up being really easy to mix as a result.

This week: - Performing & tracking drums for @saynotoyes.bsky.social - Guitar + vocal tracking with @brokensound.bsky.social - Drum tracking with Counter Weeks like this make my wife less anxious about my career choices 😌

A song I mastered and another song I tracked and mixed both dropped in the past few days. Can I get a hell yeah?

The job market has never been better for shills, stooges, and toadies of all stripes. Linkedin absolutely buzzing if you're a sycophant, a flunky, or even an unctuous little worm

Seems neat to live in a place where the government uses tax money for things like this

One nice thing about visiting Paris during the winter is that you only smell the cigarette smoke and not also the hot garbage and dog poo

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the number of Japanese restaurants in Paris. This has had the side effect of reducing the amount of French food I’ve been eating though

It’s been nice to spend some time away from the states. Wonder if anything has been happening back at home? 🙈

The cool thing about airports is you can pay $80 to prove that you’re definitely not a terrorist. Also $18 for the worst grilled cheese sandwich ever made

Heading to Paris for a week. Probably going to pretend I’m Canadian 🙈

If we're gonna change the name at least make it something cool like gulf of alternative rock

Mic = microphone Mike = Michaelphone

Okay fine I’ll find a video of the halftime show and watch it. Just to see how loud the crowd was for “and it’s probably a minooooooooooooooor”
