A glorious blue velvet coat. How lush? 😍 George Coventry in his twenties, before he became the 6th Earl. His older brother died suddenly which meant George inherited the title and Croome estate. George was heartbroken at his brother's death.

This sad looking room at Croome is what remains of the tapestry room. The whole room was sold in the early 1900's and went to America. 🧵⬇️
