The same face syndrome of my mice characters was bugging me...

A D&D duo I been procrastinating drawing... instead of using other people's art for tokens, I got around to actually drawing em... Ratchet is an Awakened Rat Inventor with the Saved by Clockwork Background. and her large reanimated clockwork Zombie.

I wanna stream, but siiiiic...

Sooo... my little model, I decided to see how it ports into VR chat... Kiiinnnnndof forgot that I had my recording audio muted... learned so much trying to make this character work. Hopefully, i can add this to commissions in the near future.

Making progress chipping away at this... Yall should check out me streaming work on this on saturday.

I know i keep jumping from 3D to 2D but i have 2 large ish animation projects I am swapping between... Here is an animation I am blocking out and timing. I left my Decided to leave my reference sketches, and marks cause wip.

So i dropped the procedural textures, used an 8X32 texture map for everything but the eyes (1080x1080 and currently fleshing out the shader settings. Counting all the scrapped versions I redid, this took like 5 months to get here... and about a few days if you don't count scrapped shit.

And i also left time-lapse on, to showcase my process... I never realized how many times i go back to redraw a line an hour or so later, during shading.

This is probably the most intentional time I spent on a background... it was alot of fun, if abit repetitive. it being a remake of one of my older characters.

Along with a few Minor Weight adjustments My boi is fully usable, with controllers and everything. This probably will be my last "Dev" post about this character, and now time to work on a super special project.

Had to quickly re upload; I left it on Stereo when the sound was Mono... Fixed. So this is my boi doing a more in depth test. I need to fix the shoulders, and tweak the rigging, But otherwise I am happy how this turned out!

Pretty pumped, mostly cause I spent WAYYYY too much time, fixing issues, and still have a lot more to do, But I got it in a usable state I am happy with :D

Finally got my character can now fully animate... just a few Shape Keys to fix a few awkward deforms, and they are ready for a controller then animate.

New year, same project, of Trying to finish this design... I ultimately dumped the 2D face, because I didn't like how it was shaping out, and just modeled it.
