Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism. The Monkey is one of the most bonkers horror movies I’ve seen in a long time! It’s like Final Destination but with better deaths and a PROPER explanation of why the fuck people keep dying. A cursed toy monkey makes more sense than vague “Death’s Design” bullshit. Also, BEES MOTHERFUCKER!
