GG Aleste is definitely one of the best soundtracks made for the SN or a variant. I think there's a few soundtracks using the chip that stand up just as well alongside it, like Devilish on the Game Gear for example (Hitoshi Sakimoto soundtracks will always slap on basically any platform)
