House Republicans are preparing a budget package that calls for $2 trillion in cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. That’s TRILLION. With a T.

These new Netflix series are really beginning to strain credulity

Pour another one out for the @nytpitchbot.bsky.social

There’s an older man on my flight wearing a giant “I Like Ike” button & a MAGA hat, & I’m like…

Next time you feel like an imposter, remember that the top journalists & editors at the nation’s leading media organizations looked at Joe Biden & this guy, and decided that Biden was the one with dementia

they like him and want him to rule us like a king.

🤞🤞🤞

Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

The simplest explanations are often the best

73 percent of Democrats think the party is not doing enough to take on Trump. 5 percent think it's doing too much, per new CNN poll. s3.documentcloud.org/documents/25...

Running thread of people trying to normalize the sieg heil. It's not an "Elon gesture", it's not autism, it's not your heart going out, it's not parody or trolling. It's fucking despicable. Don't ever let this shit become normal. Fuck any excuse given, there is none. Zero tolerance. 1. Elon Musk

Trump take egg (Des Moines, IA)

This new season of THE AMERICANS just got a lot more interesting

Painfully obvious metaphor alert

Meritocracy Inaction

🛎️🛎️🛎️

I keep thinking about Trump saying that he needed the kind of generals that Hitler had.

It really won’t be that difficult to locate Elon Musk

This is the sort of thing that generally results in an immediate involuntary commitment to a mental health institution

Fortunately there’s no chance that Trump would try to do anything illegal

none of these people have any concept of duty or decorum or service, all of them are absolute rat bastards who are unqualified to hold any job and should be ejected from any group of respectable americans.

Yes, that’s right. American conservatives have gone so Nazi that even the far right RN in France, founded by an overtly racist Holocaust denier, wants nothing to do with them. Perspective… www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Being embarrassing would be a massive improvement

Very much like the Iraq War, somehow "I thought Elon Musk was a genius until a couple years ago" is now considered the more respectable and serious opinion than "I knew he was a fraud for a decade and was never fooled by him."

If you don’t think we’re in a constitutional crisis— I can’t help you— but if you do and you think governors should just politely sit after the president berates a governor and proclaims he is federal law. Man, I don’t know.

Voters keep telling us over and over and over they believed things completely untethered to reality and based their votes on that. Misinformation is the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stories of the election.

This is climate arson, yes, but also the entire value proposition of Tesla, the reason for its insane stock price, is that it would end up the Amazon of electric cars: the only real game in town. Killing off non-Tesla electric car infrastructure is a gift to Musk.

Take it public if it’s real - they’re all making back channel phone calls like Trump in his first impeachment -“I need you to do me a favor” and exempt my state my friend - instead of challenging the lawless l’etat c’est moi monarchism that they above anyone else have the power to check

Of course they did

What a coincidence!

For my friends everything, for my enemies the law

Fact

This is in fact a real picture and it will work nicely in the ads next year about the military families devastated by Elon's illegal firings.

Free-speech absolutism at work

wearing sunglasses inside and following an event where he at times had a hard time speaking coherently, Elon Musk walks off the CPAC stage waving around a chain saw. this is the guy currently running our government. Congrats, America!
