Blown away by #Ambulance as usual. I've dealt with many paramedics over the years and they have been, almost without exception, amazing individuals and the job the call centre workers do goes far too unheralded. Also, teach CPR in schools.

It's this simple. As I've taught my kids, if someone's religion says they can't do something, then that's fine. See if there's any way you can help. But if someone's religion says you can't do something, you tell them to ram it so far up their arse it'll make their eyes bulge.

Oh wow, the backup teacher who would have been on Challenger had McAuliffe been unable to go, Barbara Morgan, ended up retraining as an astronaut and eventually went to space! How ballsy is that?! After witnessing the Challenger disaster in person she STILL went to space. Balls of steel.
