*taps sign* if your writing is good and i want to share it, but it's on substack, i won't. substack intentionally uses your subscription fees to recruit and fund fascists. they pay them huge signing bonuses before they've earned a dollar. they don't just platform them, they create their platforms

Typed this earnestly and quickly. I will miss ~hearing from~ these creators. There’s been so much perceived collective loss over the last few months and it feels like things are picking up speed. Most days I’m doing my best to ignore it and focus on hope and joy within my immediate community.

Me too. So much. I ignored the fact that it would happen until now. Now I realize that I will miss heating for so many autistic creators. These parasocial relationships have bright me so much comfort and community in the last 3-4 years.

Nice day for a walk

Mr. Rogers or Kurt Vonnegut depending on the day

Did my First spin class today. My review: sweaty and boring. The worst parts of riding a bike and also you’re in a nightclub at 6am with someone yelling at you.

Me, to myself every Sunday night: “Tomorrow you will embark on another journey to the world of neurotypicals. Remember, you do not understand their culture and ways and they do not understand yours. You are a guest there, please do your best not to offend them by being culturally insensitive.”

I guess I'm doing this tonight…

@uibreakfast.com hi!!👋🏻 nice to see you here!!

Flava Flav just called Paul the next Elon Musk. I hope he’s wrong, but also very much love the sentiment!

Nice view on the bike home this afternoon. ☺️

With this coupon, this post has gotten more likes than anything else I’ve said on here.

Maybe it’ll work this time guys!!!!!!! At least we can have good vibes for a little while. Kinda feels like the plot to Jurassic World though…

I’m stoked to see more #ElixirLang community showing up on here! Welcome!

Just finished reading String Female Character by Fern Brady. It is so good. It’s a first hand account of undiagnosed and untreated autism. Her takes on being neurodivergent are so gracious and understanding of context, but don’t pull any punches.

Just got my seasonal flu and covid vaccines. I hope I don’t get autism again. 🤭 (I’m autistic)

Today’s episode showed how tricycles were manufactured. Fred had such a knack for finding wonder in everything. “Oh isn’t that marvellous,” he’d say as Mr. McFeeley described some random step in the process. And it was marvellous! He was right!

Is there any app or open source project that can take a bunch of calendar feeds to merge them all to create one single feed that I can put into my work calendar for availability reasons?

Watching Mr. Rogers with my kids is one of my very favourite things about being a dad.

Happy Circulatory System Walking Through The Kitchen Day to those who celebrate.
