Having finished Arcane (in absolute awe) earlier today, it is mind blowing to me that the cream of the crop of fantasy television and a master class in character drama is a League of Legends property. I don’t really buy into the outrage at having Erdtree in the Game Awards GOTY nominations, it’s a stunning experience whether it’s an expansion or an original game. It’d be crazy to not nominate it as a GOTY candidate, but also in a year of great games it would be equally crazy for it to win GOTY.

Watched Dragon Half to completion tonight and it is an absolute crime that anime wasn’t given more than a couple episodes. Charming, genuinely hilarious and unapologetically fun to watch, it had the right ingredients to have become an all-time great.
