FC Dallas won last night in Salt Lake. The winning keeper was Michael Collodi, who pitched the shutout in his MLS start debut. Fun fact, I was Michael’s fourth grade Math & Science teacher and worked with his Dad in my last ministry job. His family is awesome and he’s realizing his dream!

At some point, it was inevitable. As an educator, and proud hubby, I am happy to report that my amazing wife is going to be Dean of Nursing in a major Colorado system university. I’ll never say never but I’d be okay if this departure from Texas and “red America” is my final whistle stop.

when i visited the front in 2015 i met a Ukrainian sniper in his late 50s or so who had fought in Afghanistan. hated it. never ever wanted to go to war again. but he has two sons so he picked up his rifle again so they wouldn't have to. I'm sure they've joined by now. Hope they're alive.

Zelenskyy needs to get his ass onto the safer European soil quickly before Trump does something awful to him. Right now, his concern has to be for his life on IS soil, and Trump’s disregard for anyone or anything other than himself.
