#NoGhostsAtTheGrand is my favourite trailer in a good while. I was smiling throughout. Not a musical, "[...] more like a cool, dusty album of British ska and punk songs from the 1980s that you find in your dad's record collection." www.youtube.com/watch?v=u68h...

#SummerGameFest came and went quickly. For me personally, it was a quieter event this time. There are still games I'm curious about, and some that I am really looking forward to, though! Allow me to share.

Happy #NintendoSwitch2 launch day! Excited to see what this console will do. I will not be able to play Mario Kart World myself, so I have played and finished another kart racer in the last couple of weeks – #TeamSonicRacing!

With the excitement for #MarioKartWorld everywhere, I had the motivation to complete #MarioKart7 on the 3DS. I only started the game back in 2023! My (arbitrary) criterion for completion was to get the gold trophy on all 150cc cups, with at least one star ⭐️.

One of the games I played last year, which I haven't talked about so far, was #DragonAge: Inquisition. I had already started the game back in May 2021, but stopped halfway through at the time. I picked up my save in 2024, and finally saw the game's main story to its end.

Hey, I know I'm two months late, but I still want to talk about the #TheGameAwards from December. It was one of my favourite events. Beyond the games that were shown, I felt there were genuine moments that gave a sense of optimism, hope maybe even, for the industry going forward.

In December, during my break, I rolled credits on Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. It was my first big game that I played entirely on #SteamDeck. It was perfect, really. Beating #SMTVV took me 105h 36m. The final bosses were some of my favourite of any JRPG that I have played.

Tried something completely new and went to #Dragonmeet this weekend. With only little #RPG experience, this event definitely challenged me! I'm happy I went though – people were friendly and kind, and it was great to see rpg players in their element 🐉

#EGX a week ago. Quite different from last year, with the event merged with MCM Comic Con this time. My highlight was the #Bandai booth, where we got to build model kits. My first ever #Gunpla! I was impressed with Son Goku especially, the build experience is so well designed ✨

#FinalFantasyVII #CrisisCore – this cinematic means a lot to me. After finding a subbed version online back in 2009, I watch the video so much that I learned my first Japanese word, いいだろう, without even realizing. #Retrogames #SonySunday

This trailer for #Dandadan (ダンダダン), wow, what did I just watch? Such good energy and style. I don't know a lot about the manga, it might a be a bit too weird for me? Still, this trailer though! www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LI_...

The #Xbox Showcase was my absolute highlight of this year's (not-)#E3. Lately, watching these presentations felt less and less enjoyable, and I started questioning whether I'm still interested in new games. But this was *fun*. I'm excited about the games I saw! My favourites:
