You know what? The EU & UK should put tariffs on US goods (from red states) in solidarity with Canada and Mexico. Rather than watching others get bullied and waiting our turn - we should unify against this bullying until the bully drops that behaviour.

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services. Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt. While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant of +£18.42tn. That's how privatisation 'works'.

Low-to-middle income households in the UK have much lower incomes than their European counterparts. Despite having a similar GDP per capita, typical households in the UK are 9% poorer than French households, and our low-income households are 27% poorer than their French counterparts.

The wealthiest 10% of households held 43% of all the wealth in Great Britain in the latest period; in comparison the bottom 50% held only 9%. (ONS figures). Imagine how different you life would be if that was distributed evenly. No more stress about impending bills or repairs.
