I love old photos like this. There are surprisingly few of me this age, yet I have hundreds (more) of my boys. The advantage of few though is occasionally someone will share a new one and memories I thought lost will just fizz.

I generally prefer the latter half of their catalog, from We Are The Night onwards. There seems to be much more of a warmth to their music.

Looks like it is a Worcestershire sauce alternative, and vegan. This is just marketing though, I grew up in Lancaster and we never talked about Lancashire sauce! www.lancashiresauce.co.uk

I’m buggered if I know. The flavour was like a half way house between ketchup crisps and Worcestershire sauce crisps. Very nice as it happens. I’ve assumed regardless that it’s nicer than Yorkshire sauce.

I love this compilation, have it on CD and not choosing vinyl at the time is a regret

There used to be a record shop in Manchester called Powercuts that sold these exclusively on the cheap 2/2

Album sleeves sometimes have cut corners or other markings (like holes or notches) to indicate they are "cut-out" records, meaning they are overstock or returns sold at a discounted price, and to prevent stores from reselling them at full price 1/2

Not read any Pratchett other than the Long Earth series, which I suppose isn’t typical? I should really as some of it is inspired by my home town of Lancaster? This was a plaque outside one of my old haunts..
