Too many times I have had to deal with expected/unexpected deaths of close family members, and I fear now my BABY SISTER might be next. Time for another cathartic rewatch of BtVS "The Body". Alone. Which is the only way I can handle it.

My biggest problem with the Patel confirmation is that while DOJ is kind of conceptually the "defensive" side of the equation, the FBI is the "action" side. I predict by weekend or maybe early next week we will hear the announcement of a "Internal State Investigative Squad" similar to the Stasi.

So Kathy Hochul is now the Susan Collins/Pontius Pilate for the Dems in NY. "I am concerned" and "Let them judge their own" and then some meaningless gesture rather than decisive action. Adams is a fucking crook but we can't have someone named (checks notes) "Jumaane" take over, lordy me!
