People with androgen insensitivity syndrome might be affected by the transphobic moral panic. They are externally female but biologically male due to having XY chromosomes yet despite their chromosomes they are considered to be women due to external appearance and gender identity.

This is exactly what I mean about doublespeak. Notice how women again means biological females. I honestly think most cis people fighting for trans rights don't really believe trans women are women, they just feel sorry for the "different" people. Why we need more scientific info on the left.

I remember when this bill was being proposed I told leftists I knew, you can't impose progress on people not ready for progress. The biggest issue on the left was that none of them could say why trans women were women, they just had an emotional desire to give solidarity to the proposed law.
