If the Giants are good this season I think the 3 main reasons are Ramos stayed good and didn't regress, JHL hits all his projections, Encarnacion has the same output has his expected output. THose 3 things happen and the Giants could be very good.

I think I agree with @alexpavlovic.bsky.social that Jake Lamb could make the opening day roster if the Giants can't make a move for another Outfielder, because He's basically the Nick Ahmed stop gap this year until Eldridge is ready.

My Theory for this season is the Giants will have to trade Ray in the offseason because Birdsong and Roupp are so good this season that they carve out starting jobs, and Trevor McDonald and Keaton Winn pitch well enough that they are used as trade bait to build up the farm.

The knee jerks after Super Bowls is so wild. #1 Mahomes with a great defense and time to throw is great. He was better in the seasons leading up to his first 3 Wins than Brady was in his first 3 wins, and this Chiefs Dynasty is just not as dominant as the Patriots were.
