Donald Trump has knowingly caused the deaths of Ukrainians in his withdrawal of military intelligence and munitions whilst repeating Kremlin rhetoric. Donald Trump should be investigated for war crimes.

Happy International Women’s Day everyone!! We’ll be spinning amazing music from amazing artists like this bunch all day…Open till 6pm…See ya here!! ❤️

UK Govt imposing cuts, silence on corporate welfare. Billions in subsidies to auto, steel, oil, gas, coal, biomass, shipping, others to boost their profits. Banks continue to receive public money. Received £70bn since 2021; to receive another £120bn by 2028. Must have people-centred politics.

This is shocking. ITV reporting that even those with extreme disabilities in the unfit to work category are likely to lose money under new government plans. Charities have branded the move catastrophic

The latest news of Gene Hackman and his wife’s death is similar to that of my uncle who cared for his wife. If you have an elderly relative, neighbour, friend who is caring for a spouse with #Alzheimer’s check in daily. People with Alzheimer’s don’t always have the capacity to raise the alarm.

First flush of colour from the miniature narcissus… tulips and wallflowers coming through next.

UK govt plan to snoop 24/7 on bank accounts of benefit recipients would apply to others. If money paid into a joint account or direct to a landlord, they will be snooped on together with their business and other accounts. Govt assumes that all old, sick, disabled, poor are criminals.

My Grandfather standing very casually on a downed, what looks like, Messerschmitt Bf 109… He served in Egypt with the Royal Artillery.

I think one of the individuals in this picture is a Great Grand Uncle, marked on the rear “Snipers, snapped Xmas 1924”. Cap badges look like those of the 8th Lancers, but was amalgamated to the 3rd Cavalry 1921. They have the look of people who have come to terms with what was required of them.

As Trump opens up the White House to Russia if I were Zelensky I would be checking under any vehicle provided by the American state for a bomb under it. #Ukraine #FuckTrump #FuckAmerica

Instant reaction to that Zelenskyy/Trump bust up from @tomswarbrick.bsky.social and @simonmarksfsn.bsky.social:

Aspects of history from 1934 may sound radical in 2024, but how easily the past could come back around and slap you silly if you don’t look back once in a while.

It is fun going through historical print…

Whilst researching DeBeauvoir-Crescent in Dalston 1934, where family lived at that time, I came by this article… from the Pinang Gazette 🤷‍♂️ It tickled me.

Nice track to start the morning with; Dinosaur by Soft Launch youtu.be/tDYsk2pgerU?...

No idea where this is, looks like a new build, 1930s chalet bungalow. I did check the license plate, DVLA holds no record. Pity, would have been interesting had the car still been in existence.

If President Volodymyr Zelensky is a dictator then the orange man baby Donald Trump is revering the bust of a dictator he placed in the Oval Office. #WinstonChurchill

Another pic from the family archives… Wish I knew their relationship to each other and the family. Friendship, transcends time and adversity.

This from Donald Trump who used others in an attempted insurrection. What a buffoon.

❌ Ukraine started the war ❌ America provides more funding than Europe ❌ Ukraine needs immediate elections Sir Ben Wallace fact checks President Trump's recent 'fake news' about Russia's war in Ukraine.

Trump and Putin are dividing up another sovereign countries rare Earth minerals. Two tyrants dividing up Ukraine, and after Ukraine they will move on to the rest of the EU. We are being governed by cowards.

What are the chances those UK citizens that seem happy to see others negotiate away another democratic countries sovereignty are the same people that were unhappy with the EUs apparent hold of the UKs sovereignty. Hypocrisy, they name is Lisa

Sorting through photos I have dozens of pictures like this, I’m guessing the 1920s to 1930s, yet no idea if they are family or friends of family because no one marked the back of the photos… They knew how to dress back then, today’s society appears like cavemen by comparison… act like cavemen to.

If I were Zelensky I think my response to Trump would be…

Family history gathering continues… Bedford lorry, 3 ton L.W.B 4x4 cargo carrier with a caved in roof. My dad rolled it navigating a narrow descent whilst in Cyprus. Locals came over and were offering cigarettes as my dad and mates clambered out the cab. Managed to drive it back to base though.

I wish I had taken a keen interest in family when I was young, I have hundreds it photos, some going back to the early days of photography, 1850’s and no idea who the people in them are. I wonder if their is a photo archive that might want pictures it for nothing else than historical purposes.

Going through my dad’s photos he has kept boxed up for 60+ years when he completed National Service in Lebanon and Cyprus, 1960 These are a couple from his album of Lebanon..

And so it begins, protections being stripped away. Who is the “expert” panel going to be? ATOS, CAPITA? Let’s hope proponents it this bill are the first to fall fowl of this disaster in waiting. www.bbc.com/news/article...

When is a fine not a fine? When it is levied on England's water companies. Aug 2024: OFWAT announced £168m fine on 3 companies. ZERO Paid. Dec 2024: £18m fine on Thames Water for paying unjustified dividends. ZERO Paid. Regulatory indulgence emboldens companies, encourages more abuses.

Flippin’ weather… #ThisIsAll

HSBC to hand new chief £15m remuneration deal. CEO pay soars whilst average real pay for workers is at 2008 level, when bankers crashed the economy. Govts tell workers wage rises are inflationary but that doesn't apply to exec pay, dividends, share buybacks. news.sky.com/story/hsbc-t...

I enjoy the way that in this photo my cats look like a hip-hop duo quite a lot of people quite liked in 1996 who have made a comeback record, done an interview with a broadsheet newspaper and are attempting to prove they are still serious and relevant.

Researching family tree continues. Great uncle born in Mayfield Road, Dalston where he died aged 0. 90% of area was scrubbed away following bombing during WWII. Proof that officials then were just as stupid as today, wipe away the past in favour of crap uninspiring property.

If Estate agents can not photoshop correctly then don’t they try to photoshop at all …
