This is also how I feel about the 6-12 month, on-site, temp audio jobs that seem to be becoming a more common thing down south. Alright if you live there I guess, but the fuck can afford to temporarily more their lives for a game studio like that?

I cannot fully put it into words currently but in summary: seeing as I am currently in East Africa, I am acutely feeling the effects of colonialism. I am feeling it both as someone whose ancestors were a part of colonization efforts on African land, and as someone who is colonized. This stinks.

I got really into customising fight sticks this year had this little project ready for my Christmas break and it's finally alive and working. Completely gutted and replaced everything including a new PCB. Lots of sawing, spray paint and soldering later it's finally alive!
