Friday is not Fun in my classroom today, where I have to watch the horseshoe crab get defeated 4 times in the Rundown videos #2025MMM #TeamInvert

Now that I’ve had an hour to think it over, could we not have let the poor telson-less horseshoe crab go to decamp camp island in peace?! She had to get chomped?! 😭 #TeamInvert #2025MMM

RIP horseshoe crab #TeamInvert #2025MMM Here’s a little crab I raised from an egg when I was in the classroom program…🥹🥰

I’M READY WITH APPROPRIATE GIFS #2025MMM

Wow, the art for this division is particularly outstanding (and it’s always top-notch)! #2025MMM

Everyone with polar bear as their champion right now #2025MMM

I fell asleep during all the running away battles and I missed the figs! 😭 #2025MMM

Flashback to that time my friend and colleague chose this tag team to win her first MMM #2018MMM… she’s still kinda mad I let her pick it 🤣

Even though I have watched this 5 times (with all my classes), I am still cracking up at the “Water weasel!” “Tree weasel!” part. 😂 #2025MMM

This is not gonna help with all those people who think it normally wants to stab you with its tail, though #TeamInvert #2025MMM

IM READY WITH THE CHAIR THROWING GIFS #TeamInvert #2025MMM

Just today I was telling my students about some of the more egregious human interferences in past tournaments… 😬 #2025MMM

As you can see, this part of the #2025MMM bracket was especially difficult for this horseshoe crab, plant and fungi loving #TeamInvert member

A new tiny plant! How cool. Meet the 'wooly devil,' a new plant species discovered in Texas www.npr.org/2025/02/26/n...

First read of the #2025MMM bracket. My heart is with the horseshoe crab but can’t take another defeat. Will probably eventually throw in with #TeamNarwhal but for now I’m excited about the fungus among us! Before I became a teacher I was going to study spores molds and fungi like Egon.

Let's talk about James A. Harris, the co-discoverer of Rutherfordium and Dubnium, elements 104 & 105. He was the first African-American to be involved in the creation of a new element. Born Waco, TX in March 1932 BS in Chemistry at HBU Hutson-Tillotson College in Austin, TX.

DNA extraction day is the best day in #biology

After so many weather disruptions in January, it was nice and comforting to do a lab in Biology today.
