I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

It takes a woman to take the lead. Murkowski is not always my cup of tea but as a republican sharing her (our) fears publicly is a glimmer of hope others may follow

🧵 Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, said this week that the threat of political "retaliation is real" under President Donald Trump as she expressed concerns about the administration's policies. While speaking to nonprofit leaders on Monday, she was asked about her message to Alaskans who are afraid.

By saying in public that she's really shook, Murkowski is being more honest than any other Republican senator right now. Not not heroic, but she's braver than her peers, and it's a start.

when he sends citizens to foreign concentration camps, it’s no longer a slide to authoritarianism—it’s full blown fascism! šŸ˜” this is not an administration, it’s a criminal regime in a hostile takeover of šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø democracy. #FightFascism #TraitorTrump #DefendLiberty šŸ””

Yesterday, @AnnaBower.bsky.social and @rparloff.bsky.social attended a hearing on the government’s efforts, or lack thereof, to ā€œfacilitateā€ the return of Abrego Garcia, a Maryland resident who was wrongly removed to El Salvador. After the hearing, they sat down with @BenjaminWittes.bsky.social:

UP FIRST: A whistleblower who works at NLRB says that DOGE may have taken sensitive labor data. And, the Trump administration froze over $2 billion for Harvard after it rejected demands.

In defiance of the Supreme Court & without any evidence, the White House claims that Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a ā€œterrorist,ā€ who was ā€œsent to the right place.ā€ This is a blatant LIE. He is innocent. He cannot be allowed to rot in an El Salvadorian jail. He must be brought home.

Lizzo spotted wearing ā€˜Tariffied’ shirt on SNL.

If Bill Maher REALLY thinks Trump was ā€œnormalā€ that’s classic Narcissist Personality disorder 101

I should not have eaten those Cadbury Mini Eggs #CadburyEggs are soooooooooooooo good! 🐣🪺

A topic I discussed with Rahm Emanuel on our podcast: the extraordinary cooperation during the Bush-Obama transition of 2008-09. The trust that developed between outgoing and incoming was one of the finest hours of US government. www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTfV...

Keep talking about the Signal security lapse at the Pentagon. The media may have forgotten about it, but the voters have not.

Before folks overreact to headlines about the judge’s ruling in the Khalil case, please note that (1) it was an immigration judge (IJ), not a federal district court; and (2) the IJ had no power to consider Khalil’s constitutional objections. This particular decision was a fait accompli.

Companies are slapping "Trump tariff" surcharges on customers' bills in a bid to signal where price hikes are coming from

🚨BREAKING: Four more Big Law firms join the ranks of Trump collaborators. A&O Shearman, Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins and Simpson Thacher all capitulated. In a sign of growing inflation, each firm agreed to $125m in Trump approved pro bono. Shameful.

Good Morning 🩵 #MarthaStewart has entered the conversation. #Trump is the ā€œCrazy Wizard of Our Times.ā€ All Americans should be held to the same standards. No one should be above the law. #SheShed

#SheShed what is this hashtag?? I missed something

Rep. Juan Ciscomani (R, gerrymandering), who is my ā€œrepresentativeā€, said he was against cutting Medicaid 3 weeks before he voted to cut Medicaid. I called his office in DC to remind him that Medicaid doesn’t just support people, it supports healthcare infrastructure. He’s a liar. 5calls.org

Lest we forget Signal gate !

This could spell trouble for Marjorie Taylor Greene. šŸ˜³šŸ‘‡

What did Marjorie Taylor Greene know about the tariff announcements and what stock trades did she make? We need answers.

I really miss my friend, who passed a few years ago at 93. One of smartest, well read happy person I’ve ever known. She always recommended great reads. ā¤ļø
