I'm so pleased to have been mentioned in @drjessm.bsky.social 's review column in @schoolsweek.bsky.social even though it took me a while to realise πŸ˜‚! The blog was the result of several years of reflection. Funny how things that you've been puzzling about suddenly slot into place one day!

Had a nice day off with mum in Durham yesterday. Visited The Story - a fabulous new local history centre. (Brilliant for school trips I'd say, NE teachers) Love this picture of 4 Durham policemen c.1864. You wouldn't mess with these guys 🫣

A lovely day in London with leaders from Rose Lane 😍

Is it really August?

Sharing a blog that's really relevant for leaders starting to think about the return to work and wanting to find a better work-life harmony in the new academic year. #EduBlogUK www.mrstcoaching.com/post/i-m-a-l...

I have a little offering to support headteachers with workload management. You can find it at this link payhip.com/b/ewpWg

I realised a few months back that being a slow reader was holding me back and that I'd accepted it as part of my identity. I decided to take my own advice and step out of my comfort zone. I'm learning speed reading strategies. Going well so far. Has anyone else tried this?

It was nice to discover today that I had a little mention in @schoolsweek.bsky.social way back in November πŸ˜πŸ™ thanks to Jess Mahdavi Gladwell. Shows how observant I am πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆ

Hello to new connections πŸ‘‹ and old connections from the other place. Nice to be reacquainted 😊 #EduSky

Let’s see if we can get all those up North to connect ☺️ Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham. Hands up πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ if you are part of #GeordieEd?

Out and about today in Middlesbrough. Learning more of the secret world of video creation. Lots of fun 😁

What really helped you to make it through the last year in your headteacher role?
