Square Enix, Sega, Taito and Capcom commit to "archiving past (game) development materials". "These materials are important for accurately documenting the history of Japanese games" www.gamesindustry.biz/square-enix-...

Your 3D scanned keshi today is Bomberman ice skating, from a set of sports and fantasy-themed Super Bomberman keshi by Kabaya from 1994. Enjoy! archive.org/details/kesh...

I've just opened two new-old-stock blind bags from Amada's Family Computer Color Pose Doll keshi figure line from 1985! What surprises are inside?!?!

Oh, my god youtu.be/3uGXvdbL1ys?...

When I was first blocking out this scene, I thought having Super Mario Bros. 3's World 1 in the background would be a fun detail, but ultimately I decided that it was distracting and had a confusing perspective. Instead I went with something more evocative of the original flyer art.

Today we have another Mega Man keshi for you! This time it's Hyper Storm H from Mega Man: The Wily Wars! Grab the 3D scan right here: archive.org/details/kesh...

Today's 3D scanned keshi is Neo Sigma from Mega Man X2! Download the stl model here: archive.org/details/kesh...

A SECOND partial copy of #FFVII Before Crisis was preserved by @yuvi.app! This copy had the Two Guns Turk and a rescue mission map. The map was part of BC's asymmetrical multiplayer, where you rescued your friends. We also got Comet and Thundara materia. More details below... (1/2)

New scans! This guide for #Zelda 1 was done in 1994 for the re-release & you'll notice the art reflects that era instead of earlier ones (by this time guides weren't usually anything but very trademarked looking art,) and it's SO CUTE. THE ART IN THIS IS ADORABLE! Here: archive.org/details/guid...

Your 3D scanned keshi figure today is... Dig Dug! Isn't this a fun sculpt? Download this vintage figure here: archive.org/details/kesh...

An anonymous user preserved a whopping 23 #Konami i-mode games, including the the keitai-exclusive #Gradius NEO and its sequel Gradius NEO Imperial. The full list of games is in the replies. The DoJa 5.1 SDK doesn't run these games very well, in addition to poor sound emulation.

He may have a hammer, but he's nobody's bro! This freaky Hammer Bro figure is from the bizarre and unofficial "Mysterious Mario Bros." series, Konno Sangyo's ghoulish parody of Bandai & Amada's Super Mario Bros. keshi. 3D scan here: archive.org/details/kesh...

More at Games That Weren't, where today we have recovered and released a surprise conversion of Alien Olympics for the #SEGA #Gamegear. Originally due out from Ocean Software in 1994, this is a full game which now you can check out and play. Enjoy! www.gamesthatwerent.com/2025/04/alie...

My *very* brief foray into scanning Dr. Slump keshi archive.org/details/kesh...

All 1987 Famimaga are now technically readable (though not edited to flip page-by-page) Sorry that took a while! IA has been uploading really slowly for me, I've been doing it non-stop for almost 2 weeks now, but they have more important stuff going on so I get it archive.org/details/@his...

Today's keshi scan is the Mach Rider from Nintendo and HAL's game of the same name! This is another figure from the Amada Family Computer Color Pose Doll series that came out in 1985. Grab the 3D scan here: archive.org/details/kesh...

Love penguins? Of course you do; you're not a *monster*! So you'll love today's 3D scan of a figure of Gurin and Malon from Binary Land on Famicom! This is one of the large-scale figures in Amada's Family Computer Color Pose Doll series. Pick your penguins pronto: archive.org/details/kesh...
