The European 1st and 2nd qualifying round draws are out tomorrow and Wednesday, which I’m far more excited for than Club World Cup or the tournaments’ proper. The Conference League was a lovely idea but always risked an inherent flaw, the huge financial gap between the Prem and the rest. One club outspending the rest x times over. like the Europa League, that flaw has been exaggerated by clubs no longer dropping in from the comp above & the format change.
