After discovering them several years ago via YouTube, I finally had the chance to see Mnozil Brass last night. What a joyful and skilled performance. We preceded the show with a delightful meal at Blue Orchid. Overall, a great night in Downtown #LNK.

When thinking about year-round Standard Time vs. year-round Daylight Saving Time, consider: the lovely sunrise happening right now would occur a clock hour later (7:45am) if we switch to year-round DST; at 6:45am it still would have been pitch black. #LNK #Nebraska

I came really, REALLY close to getting defrauded just now. An acquaintance's FB account has been taken over by a scammer so everything about it looks legit. Had the scammer been smart enough to tweak one little thing they could have walked away with my $$$.

The neighbor's son backed over and destroyed my mailbox. He bought an identical replacement, got my number, contacted me, apologized, asked for permission to repair it, and is repairing it now. That's a young man with strong moral character.

I dreamt that Omaha was playing Oklahoma in the NCAA volleyball national championship. (The Huskers lost to OU in the semis.) A large group of Husker fans watched a big screen from lawn chairs on a golf course. They chanted "Let's go Omaha / Go home OU".
