This WSJ front page has the potential (obviously not guaranteed) of being like 1975 NY Daily News headline 'Ford to City: Drop Dead.' It stuck. (Fifty years ago, but still...)

Keep singing to the choir! Our voices together are incredibly powerful.

The LOOOONG thread below is absolutely amazing. Pictures of turnout from small places all over the country (and a few large) showing the resistance. We are powerful when we band together.

Maybe the best sign yet.

I've always found it strange that some people don't understand that the choir ALSO needs to hear the sermon. The "preaching to the choir" thing has done a number on a lot of people. The choir ALSO needs uplifting in fact it's extremely important to ensure the continuation to the church.

Man, the big huge protests in places like Boston, DC, NY, Chicago, and Minneapolis are awe-inspiring. But my heart is gonna explode looking at these crowds of people out in tiny Maine towns and super red Alabama towns. Places where 15% of the population is on the street corner with more coming!

The biggest thing we need to do is let people know that the protests are FUN. Yelling fuck the man is fun. You will meet fun people. We also need to make them more fun. Bring grills like the French. Bring instruments like it’s Mardi Gras. Give people a reason to spend their weekend in the streets.

Fabulous turnout at #handsoff Chicago!

Teflon Don.

I have not felt hopeful for this country since November. Until last night. Thank you, Wisconsin! Let’s all eat cheese today.

A few weeks ago, I argued in the Post that the Trump administration was ushering in a new era of re-segregation. Now, here we are. www.npr.org/sections/sho...

Your dignity honors the bravery of the Ukrainian people. Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You are never alone, dear President Zelenskyy. We will continue working with you for a just and lasting peace.

Gregg is a former Marine and Forest Service ranger. He's saved the lives of hikers dangling off a cliff or going through cardiac arrest, and he's bravely fought forest fires to save small rural towns. 100% of his salary is paid by WA state. Elon fired him. Share his story.

Just talked to a friend who works for the DoE and had 2 papers censored for violating an EO. One because it uses “toxicity” (about chemical leakage into drinking wells) & the other for “diversity” (as in “microbial diversity”). We are at Soviet-level stupidity censorship.
