Last blankie of my 30's.

Keeping Kinder Buenos in the fridge is the way to go.

And a timely relisten for 18th book of the year, in hopeful anticipation of the next installment in the coming weeks!

17th book this year, less emotionally devastating than the previous 2 volumes.

Technically a reread (relisten?) For book 16

Actual Sunday morning bliss!

Weird weird weird day. This is the 2nd time in my current school, where I wore a brand new shirt and something significant happened in terms of my career trajectory. Like, maybe it's nothing, but also it's weird that it's happened twice.

Well, The Last of Us is still a relentless bummer. #thelastofus

A few weeks ago, I told the Science teacher that I thought it was fascinating that her field of study inspired her to faith, while my immersion in literature convinced me God does not exist. I can be extremely profound/ wankery when I put my mind to it. #English #Teaching

She rose again on the third try. #Easter #DonalSkehan

She is risen! Happy Easter #Easter

Go see 'Sinners'. Drop whatever you're doing and go see that film.

Looking up flights and accommodation to go see a show in London for my husband and daughter, and like, am I mad? End of June/Beginning of July, and I'm looking at the guts of a grand all in to stay 1 night. Like, HOW?

15th book of the year (14 was a hasty replacement because of the unlucky fever I had after I started 'Pond'.) "The Secret History" was the best book I read last year, and this is a blinder too. I completely appreciate why this genius writer has only 3 published novels - this kind of magic takes time

Getting a coffee to see if it makes me feel slightly less murderous than I feel right now.

Saw a lady ask to return her block of Kerrygold after the cashier had scanned it. So it begins, people.

Messy Mother's Day cake, made with love and a LOT of berries.

Mickey 17 is a fun movie with interesting themes of what makes us human and the ethics of cloning, capitalism, and fanaticism. Reaaaaly wish Robert Pattinson had made out with himself, though. #Mickey17 #RobertPattinson

13th book of the year

Joel McHale is the Antler Queen! Confirmed! #Yellowjackets

12th book of the year #Irish #women #irishwomenwriters

Happy St Patrick's Day! I celebrated by making potato farls and eating half of them.

11th book of the year #reading #irishwriters #women

Still me this week #yellowjackets

10th book of the year.

Me watching Yellowjackets this week.

9th book of the year.

RIP Pat Ingoldsby. Rest in Power, king.

Husband and I are playing our White Lotus game of 'who do I hate the most this week.' Saxon is the obvious choice.

Go see "The Monkey" great fun time, pitch black comedy, I laughed ass off and Theo James does his X-Men '97 voice all the way through!

It's half term, which means I have a copy of Primary Reading Simplified to give away. Simply *repost* this post for your chance to win. I will choose a winner at random this Saturday (22nd February).

Watching "Death on the Nile" (1978) and NOBODY could play drunk like Angela Lansbury!

Made it to midterm. Had a takeaway yesterday evening and a nap today.

8th Book of the year - Black History Month pick!
