Beadle & Grimm's paid me .25/word in 2023. Haunted Table paid me $.25/w plus royalties in 2023. MCDM pays me .35/word plus $50/hr in 2025. Several other companies that I can't yet name, have paid me .25/w. If you want to pay a competitive rate for ttrpg design in 2025, you start at .25/word.
