I had heard from a few sources over the years that the city’s tree canopy was doing better than was being reported. The city should definitely keep investing in trees, but maybe this can be a step towards tree concerns no longer being used as justification to oppose more homes for people

I talked to someone knocking doors who is potentially in the same boat, and it’s where we almost were 3 years ago when we were forced to move. It’s scary, frustrating, and *fixable*. We do not have to live this way!
