High school science class should be straight up lessons in alchemy. Kids should be going out and harvesting plants to crush up in a mortar and pestle for medicinal purposes. The children MUST be allowed to indulge the Mud Pie instinct of just mixing stuff together!

Schools: We're going to prioritize technology & standardization to maximize our ROI and make the most efficient use of the limited resources we have available. Students: Okay, so will we! Schools: Wait, not like that...

It is really bothering me (understatement) that the message is “bring back that one innocent guy” and not “WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK SHUT DOWN THIS WHOLE OPERATION IMMEDIATELY.”
