This doesn't look like slowing down

My "out of US" impression of Super Bowl: people come together to watch overpriced ads.

My guess about AI software dev agents: I think many big companies will jump from ai-autocomplete to employing agencies (like current developer shops) that run dev agents with few human software developers overwatch/fix the results.

It's either great, or not.

"Endlich wieder sagen dürfen, was man will" says the AfD's latest ad ("Finally, you can say what you want again). But, based on who the ad is targeted at, only if you're a man.

So what

One of the funniest parts about this story rn is that Deepseek probably trained their model on the output of OpenAI's models. Extreme schadenfreude watching a company built on theft have their IP stolen, improved, then given away for free.

i cant believe ChatGPT lost its job to AI

Fascinating story from @chiphuyen.bsky.social : Large tax company launched an AI chatbot. The response was... underwhelming. Barely any customers use it. They tried to find out: why? Hallucination? UX issues? Something else? Turns out users used this tax service to NOT have to ask questions!

Generative AI trained on stolen data is copyright infringing and immoral. And there is nothing we can do stop it. Regulators are too slow. This time, the example is: How OpenAI's bot crushed this seven-person company's website ‘like a DDoS attack’ | TechCrunch […]

Fun fact: If someone quotes a post of yours in a way that is unwelcome (as is commonplace on Twitter/X) there is a tool to combat the unwanted attention. Simply click the three dot menu on the quote post & click "Detach quote". This removes your post from their quote post. Useful to know, do share!
