I am arriving at the belief that fruit tastes a lot better if you limit the amount of lollies and sweet treats (icecream etc) you consume. Royal Gala Apples are my current favourite.

In the lead up to the final of the newly named Dean Jones Cup between SA & Vic I did a very shallow dive into the stats. Of the top 10 runs scorers for the season Vic have 2, Handscomb 6th & Harper 10th. SA have 2, Harvey (1st) and Drew (8th). Advantage SA.

The most pleasing parts of Victoria's win today were the impact of Murphy with the ball and the fact that while Handscomb was yet again impressive 2 young players stood up and scored important runs. We cannot continue to be so reliant on the Harris Handscomb combo to generate the bulk of the scores.

Victoria's pace attack has come in for some stick from NSW so far in today's 50 over match. The only player to struggle with the bat so far has been Konstas who fell to Murphy after a tortured stay. The Vics batting line up is a bit shallow so a big chase might be more than they can manage.

Just got back from walking Snow the Husky. Had a fairly stressful moment when a rather aggressive dog decided that we shouldn't be walking up that street & jumped the gate to come at us. Managed to back up enough for it to go back but not before it pounced & had a bite at my dog. Luckily she's OK.

Season 3 of "World's biggest slow moving human target evades bullets and solves crimes" hasn't started particularly well and as I didn't like the first 2 seasons one must ask why I'm watching it at all.
