if i could give art advice to anyone, i would say to take a step back from something you've finished painting. don't stare at it, analyze it, think you need to change something, etc. if it still bugs you a week later, go ahead and rework it.

re: weird scabby mole saw my doctor and he took one look at it and said “it’s not skin cancer.” so i guess that’s good? lol. i’m iffy on trusting him, since he’s not a derm, but then i remembered he’s been a doctor for 40 years and has mostly older patients who’ve 100% have had skin cancer
