My son’s school hosted their annual culture festival where kids can share food from their cultures & it’s my favorite. We met a Palestinian mom & bonded over our love of boycotts & baklava 😝 The kids ran around in their folk costumes eating treats from every table. My son came back with a bindi.

I see every new piece of art or fiction as a small miracle. We live in a society where most people’s time is eaten up just trying to survive and pay the bills. We are told art has little value. Yet artists persevere and still find ways to create. That’s incredible.

I got rid of Amazon in November and as someone who ordered from them at least 1-2 times a week and as a teacher/mother/with an elderly parent w medical needs I promise you can survive without it. These monsters would not be here without our money. Take it back.
