Honestly I've wanted to do my own take on silent ponyville since I joined the fandom back in 2013 and I haven't bc I feel like it would look like me "fixing" the original silent ponyville but... I just really love silent hill.......

#mlp fanfic authors, what are some arbitrary rules you hold yourselves to in fic writing? Like I for example refuse to write a story that is "just" romance - I HAVE to come up with more of a plot. Why? No reason, of course. Just like giving myself little challenges 🫠
