Heart Eyes balances it's mixed genre romcom and slasher tropes and tones pretty well, kind of an impressive feet. Not everything worked for me but there's some wit to the script, loved the drive in playing His Girl Friday sequence 🍿

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

I liked the monster design in Arcadian (2024) yes it really is inspire by the Disney character Goofy. It's interesting design anyway. Sometimes silly in a way that doesn't feel like it's in the same movie as the family drama, like when they travel in a big cartwheel. Pretty good performances,
