Not everyone can do this, but if you’re able to, cut the big companies out of your life. Pretty soon I’ll post a how to for replacing Google Drive with self hosted OnlyOffice. (Currently testing.)

I am so shocked at how many "progressives" still publish on Substack...Make the switch to @buttondown.com ! It's very easy to use, and the guy who runs it is really receptive to user feedback. I also got better subscriber engagement after switching.

I used to see stats about how some low percentage of wheelchairs were "actually" mishandled and/or damaged. 30/day is awful. And let's be clear: If you separate a person from their mobility device, you've mishandled the equipment.

A really common abuser tactic is to push and harass a person over and over again until they lash out in response, and then be like, "Oh my God that was so awful of you! I can't believe you did that!" And I wish more people would realize that.
