Finished rewriting a compiler orchestrator, implemented a bespoke thread-gnostic logging framework to figure out why integration tests stalled on low-core-count github action runners, ripped out the "smart" bits of the executor service and my loggers. Now I'm free to do some actual language design.

People underestimate how much "once I lose power, I go to prison" plays into the decision making of criminal heads of state like Trump and Netanyahu. Yeah, we see them as leaders and their stalled indictments seem secondary. Not to them though. For them, the latter is ever present and personal.
